This case concerns the exclusion of an expert witnesss testimony for violating "the Rule" by discussing the case with a corporate representative. In addition, we clarify the proper procedure for applying settlement credits under Chapter 33 of the Civil Practice and Remedies Code when all of the plaintiffs are seeking damages for injury to the same person. Based on our resolution of these issues, we affirm the court of appeals judgment, as reformed, and remand this cause to the trial court to render judgment in accordance with this opinion.
